On Tuesday, May 4th, SRP poets and alums Amanda Doster, Janet MacFadyen, and Cindy Snowgave a poetry talk and reading at the Franklin County Technical School for students and teachers. Paula Sayword took Jim Bell's place as he could not make it.
FCTS has been hosting this since at least 2014. This event was postponed from last year due to COVID. Funded in part by grants from the local cultural councils of Greenfield, Montague, and Orange.
Slate Roof Press is a member-run press established in 2004 and committed to publishing Massachusetts and regional poets. They publish limited edition, art-quality chapbooks, which are designed by the poets and printed by member and master printer Ed Rayher. The FCTS Library has an extensive poetry collection, including several chapbooks by Slate Roof poets.
