The welding/metal fab shop has recieved a grant to acquire a state of the art Miller six axis welding robot. If you haven't seen it yet there's a new window in the hallway so that passersby can see the robot in action. Instructors Mr. Burrows and Mr. Passiglia are scheduled to undertake a weeklong training this upcoming winter. In addition, the shop has gotten a number of other new machines including a Lincoln torchmate 4800 cnc plasma cutter, a 4 foot power roll, a 8 foot Piranha cnc press brake, 65 ton Piranha ironworker and a new cnc band saw.
