Coming Spring 2023!
The Culinary Arts program will be 230 hours over 12 weeks. Participants will receive certifications in either servsafe manager or food handlers. Participants will visit various food service establishments. Technical skills that will be taught will be; Basic skills such as Safety & Sanitation, HACCP, Equipment safety and operation, Cost control, Sauté, Grill, Roasting, fry station, recipe conversions Garde manger, basic baking. Knife skills, temperatures, working on a line, employability skills such as: resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills, dish room set-up and operations, customer service.
