Instructors

John Hicks joined the Franklin County Technical School vocational faculty in December 2003. 

Prior to becoming an educator, John spent six years in the US Air Force as a mechanic, and also worked for several local companies as a plumber and an HVAC technician.

John obtained his Massachusetts vocational teaching license in 2006. He has complete coursework at Westfield University, Springfield Technical Community College and Greenfield Community Colleges. He is a 1983 FCTS Plumbing Shop graduate.

What he enjoys most about teaching is helping his students master the skills needed to be successful in the plumbing and HVAC industries.
