SAGA

SAGA is for any and all students who wish to have fun and join a community focused on creating a welcoming environment for all people here at Tech. The school GSA (SAGA - Sexuality And Gender Acceptance) is open to anyone who’s interested- so come to a meeting and try it out.

SAGA is for anyone of any sexuality or gender identity whether they be closeted, out, a straight ally, or those just wanting to gain some new understandings on how to help people and be a more accepting person yourself! (And no one needs to know which of those you are) There is no commitment- if you just want to drop by meetings that is encouraged.

We go on regular field trips- in the past two years, we have attended a Broadway musical, a play In Northampton, and various movies. We attend conferences and every-other-month regional meetings where we meet with other GSA’s and work together and discuss current issues. We also attend pride events in the spring with performances, parades, cool vendors, and a prom.

If you are looking for a club to join and want to be part of an incredible, caring community, try out SAGA! We meet on Wednesday mornings on week 1 and Thursday after school on week 2 in J2. We hope to see you soon!
